Well, as promised my little gamers, we will shortly have reviews on the Kontrol Freek stick caps. They are sending us a pair of both the “FPS Freek” and the “Speed Freek” toppers. They were ultra cool when it came with customer service. It may take up to a week for someone to respond to your email, but when they do, they do an excellent job. So wait for our review and then after our review, which will be in video and text, then use our code and buy them or not. BTW, we can’t wait to get our hands on them.

Also, we have been drafted to be one of the closed beta players for, the brand new, Medal of Honor. The game will release in Europe on October 15 and North America on October 12 - a month ahead of Activision’s Black Ops. And for a limited time you can just pre-order through EA, and buy your way into the beta. We will have a review of this as soon as we realize the we need to eat and that caffeine alone we not get us life-giving nutrients or until our Xbox RRODs.

Hey guys, keep an eye out on the webcast and on the blog for an upcoming review of Kontrolfreek.com’s “stick toppers”. We here at GamerCoach have tried to purchase the racing and fps combo but their site is not happy right now with taking our money. We have emailed the “Freeks” customer support and hope to hear from them soon.

According to their site, their product, which I have called “stick toppers”, they didn’t really call them anything are “…designed to elevate your gaming experience, by improving your performance while reducing fatigue. All of you lone rangers will be able to see yourselves now and your horsey too. Today the patch dropped for the lovely western, Red Dead Redemption Looks like Rockstar also fixed the horrible multiplayer drop that were so annoying.

According to a quote by Rockstar, ”We have just deployed a fix that should address the issues some people have been experiencing in Red Dead Redemption online multiplayer. This fix should address a specific issue that was found where the player’s multiplayer avatar, their horse or their weapons would occasionally not be visible in multiplayer games as well as an issue that some players were experiencing where they would lose connection to the various multiplayer modes.”

For those who like to look “fancy” or “classy” when fighting, here is your news on the upcoming costumes for our fighters in the april release game “Super Street Fighter 4″ For both the 360/PS3 consoles. Now if you have purchased, and already played SSFIV, then you know that you get new coloring themes from SFIV’s hard drive save file reward. Though if that wasn’t enough to feed the hunger of looking marvelous in combat, Capcom extended more titles, and allowed Icons to be usable earlier then requiring you to complete all of (character’s name) trials now. Plus great news for those who purchased SFIV’s old cast alternate costumes will be please to hear that the costumes transfer just like the hard drive save file color reward. As long as you downloaded, and purchased “on Street fighter 4″, and “not” Super Street Fighter 4 that is.

Your probably asking yourself “Why can’t I play Meta Zangief yet?, or Look fly in Cody’s new duds?!” Well Capcom had release leaks for costume through the trailers, and Xbox/PS3 dashboard Themes. Even though they have completed the costumes, and ready to ship, Capcom plans to make you wait. Capcom’s PC version was one of the most pirated video games to date, and Capcom has to make up the loss of sales by making their content as insurance.

Each character’s alternate costume comes in seperated packs. Just like in SFIV such as the “New warriors”, “All Female pack”, “Shoto Pack”, and etc. Right now in the current SSFIV downloadable content menu, you can purchase the new alternate costumes for (Super Challengers Pack) Guy, Hakan, Dudley, Dee Jay, and Makoto for about 400 or less MS points.

Other packs will be released on seperate dates, and will be focused on certain characters. Dates are below for you to look forward to.

May 11: Super Shoryuken Pack (Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Gouken, Dan)

May 25: Super Beauty Pack (Chun-Li, C. Viper, Sakura, Rose, Cammy)

June 8:Super Challengers Pack 2 (Juri, Ibuki, Cody, Adon, T. Hawk)

June 15: Super Brawlers Pack (Zangief, E. Honda, Rufus, Abel, El Fuerte)

June 22: Super Shadaloo Pack (Vega, Sagat, Balrog, M. Bison, Seth)

June 29: Super Classic Pack (Guile, Blanka, Dhalsim, Gen, Fei Long)
(This pack could have been purchased, and set earlier in the game for you to use if you pre-order SSF4 edition)

July 27: Super Complete Pack (All 35 costumes)

Now each pack will most likely cost each 400 MS points, but I am not too sure about the Super complete pack. I would reccomend saving up for the complete. Though if your character love is strong then go ahead, and get the pack he/she belongs to.

Hey guys is the info on the new exciting update from xbox live. This comes directly from Major Nelson himself

On April 6th, we will be releasing a system update over Xbox LIVE for your Xbox 360 that will allow USB flash drives to be used for storing profiles, game saves, demos and more. Once you take the system update on April 6th, you’ll be able to connect your USB flash drives to your console and head over to the memory section to configure your new storage device. Once you do that, the system will conduct a one time performance and integrity check to confirm the drive is working properly. You will then be able to configure how much storage to use on the device, up to 16 GB. The remaining space on the flash drive will be accessible by your PC or Mac. USB Hard drives may work, but like flash memory, you’ll only be able to use up to 16GB of space. Since performance on flash based USB storage is usually better, I highly recommend using flash based instead of spinning media like a hard drive…it’s just going to give you a MUCH better experience.

Well now we know why they phased out those 512 Mb cards. So now when people are “flashing” on xbox live it will be a good thing.

We’ve also enhanced the memory management functions, so you’ll be able to have better control on what you want to copy or move between storage devices.

A couple of points:

–You can have 2 devices connected to the console at a time, enabling up to 32GB of simultaneous storage.
The system won’t just configure the device once it is connected to the console. You’ll need to head to the memory area in system settings, select your USB Device, and choose from Configure Now (Format and Configure the Full Device), or Customize (you can choose how much memory you want configured for Xbox360 from the free space on the device.)

–While any flash drive can be used, we are partnering with SanDisk to release an Xbox 360 branded USB flash drive in May that comes pre-configured out of the box and ready to go. I’ll provide links to those drives once they’re available. Until then, starting April 6th (when we release the system update) you can pop any flash drive over 1GB into your Xbox 360 and configure it as storage.

The upcoming film “Prince of Persia The Sands of time”(PG-13) is based of the infamous M-rated title Prince of Persia series. Now for those who loved the gore fest of the games might be put down as this film is being presented, and produced by Disney.

But don’t let Disney’s goodie intentions put you down, while yes this flim might be kid friendly, it will still provide thrills for adventure seekers. As seen above in the movie poster, the producer of “Pirates of Caribbean” is in collaboration. The actors in this production are Jake Gyllenhall(as the prince), Gemma Arterton(as the princess, who was also in Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3), and cast that includes Sir Ben Kingsley, and Alfred Molina. Directed by Mike Newell who did following the films “Bad Blood”, and “Love in the Time of Cholera”. The genres for this flim are Action/Adventure, Romance, Science Fiction, and Fantasy.

The Story takes place in epic action-adventure set in mystical lands of Persia. A rogue prince reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess, and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time. A gift from the gods that can reverse time, and allow it’s possessor to rule the world.

Well if you Bad Company folk were wanting maps and were jealous of the Modern Warfare 2 “Stimulus Map Pack”, then EA is giving you want you want…or are they. hmmm lets see as we compare them head to head.

Well even with the Ex-Infinity Ward  heads suing the pants off of Activision for breach of contract (read all about it here with juicy court documents), they somehow got this map pack out. It might be a while until the next one, but for this one you can shell out 1200 microsoft points. (or $15 for the rest of us). So 2 of them are old maps so you really are getting 3 brand new maps. right???

the five maps make up the pack, including two oldies from Call of Duty 4. They are:

• Bailout – An “overrun apartment complex”
• Storm – An industrial park “in the middle of a rainy downpour, tense thunderstorm”
• Salvage – An abandoned junkyard”, with a “snowy terrain”
• Crash – Urban map with a downed heli, one of the classics from COD4
• Overgrown – It’s “wide open, great for snipers”, the other map from COD4

EA-Dice is competing by releasing the VIP Map Pack 2 for BC2. This DLC is for VIP members only. Yup, just like EA’s other insider gamer’s club for Mass Effect 2, the Cerberus Network, VIP membership is free for those who bought the game new. Meanwhile, those with used copies on 360 or PlayStation 3 will have to fork over $15 (1200 on Xbox) the membership. PC players simply get this the pack as an update.

I should tell you though the VIP map pack 2 doesn’t actually have ANY new maps. What it really does is, it unlocks the Conquest Mode in Arica Harbor and Rush Mode in Laguna Presa. So I guess you could call it new content forfree, so it’s hard to complain. Unless you aren’t a VIP, of course.

Both DLC packs descend upon us stoners to a Dave Matthews Concert, later today, March 30th.

If you have heard the news about the upcoming fighter to the consoles, Super Street fighter 4, then your in luck! I am going to blog about the 10 new arrivals to the game’s old roster! Learn about these new fighters!

Dee Jay
Is not your average DJ… He comes from Street fighter 2 series, and his intention is to fight in the world tournaments to see if he can discover new inspiration for his musical sounds. For those who played Dee Jay in SF2 you will find some of his new moves to be festive, and get a new feeling of groove in your hips as he breaks some beats…and faces!

Juri Han
This nasty young lady will be turning heads as she makes her first debut on the Street Fighter series. Juri is a agent of a corporation known as “S.I.N”, and her nickname is “Spider”. She enjoys nothing more then fighting, and warlike events. Keep your wits about you, and remember to watch out for her robotic eye!

Guy (Gai)
A martial arts master who disguises himself in ninja attire, and training in the arts of Bu shin (ninja).
He has many fast, and unexpected moves, and his special move from the old “Final Fight series” for those who played, they will remember the infamous off-the-wall kick. Guy is expected to be interesting to play for those with love their inner ninja side.

Cody Travers
A hero, and vigilante who just loves fighting. His routine for life is to find scum, or riff raff he deems suitable, to pummel, and waits to be thrown into prison. He is one of the only fighters to use a real-world weapon as his style, and can do assortment of wacky attacks. Though don’t count this convict out! He can still be a handful, and many fans of “Final Fight” will remember exactly what this bad boy can do.

Makoto
Master of her deceased father’s dojo, and prodigy in karate dojo. Makoto is one character people will turn away till they see her in action. This young lady can literally pack an punch, if your not watching! For those who played “Street fighter Third Strike”, you will see this dojo fighter come in first as a deadly threat among the roaster.

Ibuki
If you thought Guy was the only ninja, then you better look twice! Ibuki from Japan is representing her true ninja skill to those who take on the traditionally way to fight deadly with kunai, and dash traits. She is easily missed like Makoto, but you will see this young ninja taking on the big boys in Super Street fighter 4 with ease!

Dudley
Heavyweight boxer, but yet a gentlemen in and out the ring. This heavy hitter is reigning from Britain with style, and grace as he uses his old skills from “Street Fighter Third Strike” to keep the boys in line. For those who prefer elegant move sets, and just a bit of noble gameplay, get your hands on Sir Dudley.

Adon
The Muay Thai warrior who fights his master Sagat for power, and respect. Overall Adon is Sagat’s old pupil, and he shares many similar attributes with his master, but named as Jaguar instead of Tiger. Adon may be Sagat’s apprentice, but this fierce warrior is not going to let you win easy! “JAGUAR KICK!” -Adon

T.Hawk
This fighter coming from Mexico is one nasty guy. He can lay out the “face palm” action, by grabbing your entire face, and slamming into ground. I can assure you this guy is not someone you want to encounter in the ring, or even get him ticked! T.Hawk will be the slowest character for sure, but he will not be weak… I stress on that will not be weak.

Hakan
If you think Street fighter is not humorous at all, then let Hakan prove you that he is goofy, and quite the threat at the same time. This Turkish oil wrestler will oil up to take on his foes, and make you wonder where your swim suit is. This has to got be one of the interesting characters to arrive into the Street fighter series, and will most likely used character online! “He fights for his daughters!”

That is all ten fighters guys, and keep your eye keen on April 27th, 2010 in North America, April 28th, 2010 in Japan, and April 30th, 2010 in Europe!
