The Deal:
To be a Professional GamerCoach, you bring…
• Your gaming knowledge and passion for the sport
• Available hours for coaching
We provide for you…
• 100% of Marketing and Promotions for you (search engines, trade mags, retail promotions, etc.)
• Billing and Payment (We take responsibility for collecting from the players who hire you. We transfer the money securely to you via your own PayPal account.)
• Web Tools (We provide you with a complete Coach Profile page (similar to MySpace) where you can communicate information about you as a coach to help persuade users to hire you.)
• Scheduling (We provide a complete, web based scheduling tool that makes accepting a training gig as easy as responding to an email alert)
• VOIP Phone Communication (Most training sessions will be done with the Playstation or Xbox built in microphone or Bluetooth headset. However, sometimes the voice quality can be unacceptable. We have built a cell-to-cell or cell-to-landline solution for these times as a back up.)
• Business Cards and E-Flyers (Promoting yourself as a professional gamer is cool and effective. We have developed an entire suite of promotional tools for you to use with the clients you work with as well as new clients you’d like to.
• Email marketing (Soon we will offer the ability for you to send email marketing newsletters to the players you train. Keeping them updated on new levels new game versions etc. Reminding them that you are there and available is key to generating more business.)
Our Fees:
There are no costs to launch your GamerCoach Coach account.
We will set you up with everything you need to provide professional coaching services today.
We simply charge a 15% commission on your sessions.
It works like this;
Lets say you book a Halo3 training session next Wednesday at 7pm. You have set your hourly rate at $45.
Once the training has been booked, we immediately charge the player’s credit card for your session. They will be billed $45.
Once you have completed the session an email will be sent to you and the player asking that you each confirm that the training actually took place. Yours will be a simple confirmation. The player will be asked to confirm that the session took place as well and to rate your performance as a coach. (Similar to Ebay’s rating system).
Once both parties have reported in, we make payment to you.
You will be paid $45 less our management fee of 15%.
In the example above you would be paid a net of $38.25. You are paid as a contractor and we do not withhold any taxes from this amount.
How much can I earn?
In keeping with the example above, assuming a $45 rate, the table below applies.
